5 Ways to Hurt Your Georgia Auto Accident Case - Atlanta-Injury.Com

Hello, this is another legal article from the Decatur Accident Attorney.  There are tons of articles about what to do in a Decatur or Atlanta personal injury case.  Therefore, I decided to do just the opposite, so I created a small list of what not to do in a car accident case.  So, this is advice to follow in reverse.  So, let us have some fun.

1.  Don’t exchange insurance information with the other driver.  Or better yet, take some cash and move about your business.  Talk about a quick settlement.  See how much cash the other driver has and take it.

2.  Don’t get timely medical treatment.  In fact, don’t get any medical treatment.  This advice is perfect.  Just try to prove you have a back strain or neck sprain without medical proof.

3.  Don’t notify your insurance company.  If you have additional insurance coverage, be sure to tell them after the notification period.  They will love it.  You will not.  You must notify your insurance company within a reasonable time if you expect any coverage.

4.  Don’t do anything for over two years.  We all love to miss timelines.  Therefore, go ahead and miss the two year statute of limitations in your car accident case.  If they are the government, just wait past six months or one year.  The tax payers will love you for it ruining your Atlanta or Decatur personal injury claim.

5.  Sign a release with the insurance company.  Go ahead and make that a full release.  This means that your car accident personal injury claim is over.  All things are done and wrapped up.
