Georgia Tractor Trailer Busted with Pot

Breaking news:

A tractor trailer in Georgia was stopped and found to have 1.2 million dollars worth of marijuana in the cargo.  The tractor trailer was found in Palmetto in south Fulton County.  This is a record breaking bust for the city, of course.

According to reports the seizure was a joint operation between the Palmetto Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff’s tactical narcotics team, the Georgia State Patrol and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

A white cargo van was also seized in the bust. One person was placed under arrest. Investigators have not released that person’s name.

Atlanta Police Dragged by Hit and Run Driver

Once again something stupid has happened on the roads of Georgia.  Today it involved a hit and run driver.  The accident happened at a standard drivers license checkpoint.  The driver, according to reports would not turn off his car.  The police office reached into the car to turn it off for him. This is when things go wrong.  The driver, who was driving what turned out to be a stolen Honda, took off the the cops hand still in the car.  The police office was dragged for some distance until … guess what?  The Honda ran into a building.  The driver and a passenger jumped out and took off on foot.  The report indicates that the office fired a shot, but it is unclear at this time.  The suspects have not be caught and a man hunt is underway in Atlanta for the guys.

Sarah’s Hand of God

Who lies more…Lawyers or Sarah Palin?  Trick question.

Boy, you have got to love the lies.  My favorite are lies about God.  I guess I share this with Mrs. Sarah Palin.  After many” and many days, ol’ Sarah has found something in common with God.  They both write on their hands??!?

Well, that is what she says now.  Does anyone no see this?  She is clearly manipulating people.  She is clearly using a cover of religion to meet her next political goal.  I guess I am upset because it is like watching a kid wipe shit on the wall while everyone calls the kid a genius.  Some can’t see the forest from the trees.

Representative Massa Forced Out?

Well he is on Fox News saying that the Obama administration is forcing him out of office.  Why, do tell.  Because of health care, of course.  Rep. Massa-D from New York voted against the health care bill in the past.  Further, by taking out a no vote and turning it into a non-vote, the majority votes lowers.

As new broke last week, a Congressional aide claims some sort of violation.  It seems kind of mysterious at this time, but sexual in nature.

UPDATE:

Massa-D says that while at a wedding party, an aide made an inappropriate remark about a bride’s maid.  Massa claims that he remarked that the aide should be “fraged”, then messed up the aide’s hair and left.  Who knows?  But why blame the White House???

Lawyers & Terrorist

Liz Cheney is now running an advertisement saying that lawyers that represented detainees are terrorist because of their representation.  Wow.  As a lawyer, my clients are not a reflection of my own activities.  I am not a reflection of my client’s activities when I am not with my client.  Her argument is complete hatred.  Spew and Spew.

The only purpose for saying such ridiculous things are to absolve her daddy of war crimes.  The lawyers who took those cases deserve our respect.  That job is messed up.  First, having to go there just to meet your client is a  chore.  Then, having to work by interpreter is another fun aspect.  Don’t forget the danger you put yourself and your family in.  That is a tough job for any attorney, much less a successful lawyer.  As a beginning lawyer, all lawyers took difficult cases, but this is way beyond that.  Then to have Little Ms. Cheney sling dumbness and hatred that would cause McCarthy to watch his back.

Oh, a shot at the media.  How many advertisements did she buy?  Or did she just send Politico a copy and the media chases the bone.  Lawyers as terrorist…no.  Lawyers as jerks…a much easier sale.  But I am one of the good ones.

Stupak Amendment

Much talk this week about the Stupak Amendment.  This is all about abortion funding.  The law of the land as it stands prohibits any federal money to be spent on abortion.  Bart Stupak-D claims the new health insurance bill does just that.  Nancy Pelosi says it does not.  So who is right?  ABC News just ran a report and says that Stupak is wrong.  The new health insurance bill does not fund abortion.  Now, logic in DC is moot.  We all know that.  So does it matter anymore who is right?  Likely not.  Hey, dude, need a federal program in crap district.  Of course, we can’t put it in this bill (stinks), but how about three or four bills later?

Mitt Romney on Fox News

Boy, Mitt is have some problems this morning.  His insurance plan in NH includes an employer mandate and an individual mandate.  It is also partially paid for by the federal government!?!

His poll numbers are average, but he lacks appeal.  He has a major issue with authenticity.  Changing your position on abortion to help you in the Republican party, is difficult.  I do like his new tan today, but he has no chance.  I will say he is smart, but that is not a characteristic of leading GOP officials.

On a different note, his book tour will not do as well as Sara Palin’s unless he pre-purchases millions of books like she did.  Not having read either book, I will guarantee that it is legible.

Toyota Product Liability

As you have heard Toyota has had issues with the gas pedal on many of their cars sold across the United States.  Many of the people who have been injured are the actual drivers.  However, other drivers out there are also at danger of an injury.  Many of those cars are riding around Decatur and McDonough as you read this.  If you know someone with one of the recalled vehicles, beg them to take them in before they run over the both of us.

Today, it is my understanding that several people have died from these faulty vehicles, although I have not heard of anyone being hurt in McDonough, Decatur or Georgia for that matter.  If you have suffered a personal injury because of another driver or because equipment in your vehicle, then you should contact a McDonough personal injury attorney for representation.
